Help needed with a table

I was wondering if you could look at the nav bar on the left hand side of this test page. I've tried playing around with the table every which way but I cannot for the life of me work out why there is a space below each of the images.

Remove the space between the </A> and </TD> for each image and the spaces will be gone.

I like the newer nav bar better, it takes up less space and just looks more professional.

Thanks a lot. It worked. Silly me! I like to keep the code neat so that I can go back and change things without getting lost. That was why I had the stupid space where it shouldn't have been.
