Yeah - I used to pay for my hosting but up until recent times with my old host that decided to close shop without notice aka www.hostculture.com I have decided before spending my holy 15 bucks a month on hosting.. to look for something that I can get for free (why not?)

I see many have already been suggested some. I been to a few but it seems none reply to my signup when they mention after reviewing your site bla bla bla....


Looking for something like

30-50MB SPACE
500-1GB BANDWIDTH (I was using approx 600-750 before)
DOMAIN HOSTING (www.mikie-likes-it.org)
CGI PLEASE / PHP NOT REQ BUT A BONUS
BANNERLESS (I don't mind posting one tho if it at least looks professional)


Will be used for a personal site with Journal, Tagboard, Imge Gallery, Gaming Section Screenshots- - - Nothing Fancy :-)

Yeah I love my perl/cgi ;) I dunnp Php seems to do the same for me what I need but I like a little challenge at times when working on my pages.

I'll definitely checkout this clubhost.us stuff ;)

Could always try 1&1 (http://www.1and1.com). I have little experience with em.. but its been good so far.

Hats off to you :) This seems to be exaaccteelly what I'm looking for.. I'm not one to participate on message boards much so the clubhost thing wouldin't work for me.

I did have to dish out my phone number for this one but I'm not worried for the junk mail and telenmarketers.. I'm moving anyways in March ;)

heh.. I havent gotten any more calls on my phone then usual.

Only thing I hate is the slowness of the admin panel, and sometimes my site.. but its all good.

I noticed that too. Their hosted websites are very slow. But no one else can give that for free.
