This is a very good host, has little to none downtime and is very fast

http://www.tdlinternet.com
They offer:
20mb of space (used to be 50mb but they said it will change)
No Ads
Permission to host paid ads
Chat rooms are ALLOWED must be monitered though

Check them out they are pretty cool. Note your account will be deleted if you dont use it. I know. I found out the hard way awhile ago LOL. Anyway, just check them out and see if you like em.

NOTE: They dont work with netscape right now...they are working on the issue

"-No adult sites
-No spaming
-No unauthorized paid ads"

judging from there poor TOS I wouldn't use them, they could have atleast stated something about being not active

There's nothing wrong with teenagers however they rarely have the capital to make a sucessful free host (if such a thing exists anymore).

That's exactly what Ted meant. Most teenagers don't have the money to make a webhost. If they can just barely squeak by, they won't have enough money to keep the host running.

Omari, no offense but I'd doubt that given a few thousand dollars you could turn a real profit. The truth is, advertising dollars hardly, barely and rarely pay for the bills associated with maintaining a good free host. To make a profit, or even stay afloat you need some serious business skills and connections.

Although there are certainly teens with such abilities, they are few and far apart. Two years ago, anyone could make a profit from nearly any site but now... now it's just not that easy.

And like Coolin said, the exact reason most teenagers shouldn’t be trusted to run a company is because they very rarely have the money to even start it.
