Well, I'm being screwed over by the supposedly 'great' offer over at real-hosts (restrictions they don't tell you about and unprofessional behavior :angry2:) so if anybody knows of a free place where I can store and share 10MB zip files (with lots of bandwidth) I'd really appreciate it!! I'm getting very frustrated.:cry2:
Thanks.

What type of .zip files do you want hosted? Quick question. :)

They're zipped media files (.wmv files to be exact). Why won't free hosts allow this? For the offer at real-hosts, I told them upfront what I needed the space for and they gave me the account but they waited until I had the site all up and running before they yanked it away.

Well, understanding that they are ZIP Files, and they are 10 megs a piece. Who knows whats in them other then you. They dont want you hosting a bootlegged movie on the server in a 10 meg zip, don't ask me why someone would make a full movie in WMV (considering the quality), but the point im trying to make is, there is no way for them to know whats in that file unless they download it and look, but they dont have the time. The deal is, if you pay, they are willing to take the risk, dont get me wrong they'll still look, but they'll let you host the file. Also theres bandwidth issues, bandwidth doesnt grow on trees. If you have a 10 meg file, not only does the bandwidth cover the uploading of the 10 meg file, but the downloading, and the deleting, etc. So if you dont have green, there aint no way any smart host would give you it. Sorry to break it to ya, you can try to make a deal with someone. If you really need a host for zip files, make friends around the web, or get a job. Anyways, good luck bro.
