Start>Run

type in "msconfig" and goto the "Startup" tab and uncheck the programs you do not want to run at startup. Then reboot.

thats weird, when i type in msconfig in the run box it says it can't find it (or one of its components) make sure the path and filename is correct and that all required libraries are available. i have windows 2000 pro, does that make a difference? :doh!:

When I was typing my previous post, a thought went through my head that you *may* have Windows 2000.
