I ran across an article ( http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,49504,00.asp ) That suggests cdrs will rise in price as much 350%, for various reasons. Buy tons now and sell them to your friends later :)

Sorry... but the price is in affect now. Each average price for each one of those CD-Rs are now between 28 Cents - 32 Cents each on most sites I shop on.

If you live in an urban area and have a frys, best buy or anything similar near, you should be able to get a 100 stack of cdr's for like $25 (no shipping either). If you buy bluk, you can get them for a few cents a piece.

What are you on about?
Sometimes when CD-Rs are cheap you have to worry about the quality. If you are just selling them to other people it probably doesnt matter as much as if they are for yourself. believe me i have more coasters than i need for any occasion as a result of cheap cdrs. Buffer underrun errors suck too.

Why bother with Zip disks? Their prices are a lot worse. Even when you buy them in bulk (i.e. a ten pack or something), they typically cost $10+ per disk! And that's just for a 100MB disk!
Even at 28 cents a pop, the capacity of a CD-R is still 550MB more than a zip disk, and about 1/40th the price of the ZIP. Of course you can also get some CD-RW's for a buck if you want to be able to re-use them.
Plus CD's are optical media instead of magnetic. They're likely to be more durable and last longer than ZIP disks.
And you can burn your pirated music on them! you can't beat that!!

So? I knew that already.
I got them for 80 cents Canadian. They got it for 20 cents American. 20 cents american is 30 cents canadian. See my point?
