Don't you use linux? Linux is not affected by the virus. Anyway, good thing to think about your users.
I would join if you would accept postnuke... :(

Btw, the amount of space and bandwidth is way too high. Do you oversell? I guess the word is overgive. :D

Our server is running FreeBSD and no it is not vunerable to the virus. If you use email on our server the server attempts to filter out the virus from your email. That is all that I meant by that.

As for overgive, not exactly. :bandit2:

If you notice the "Up to" that means we will support a site that we feel merits that much space/bandwidth but, it is certainly not given to everyone. :-)

Thanks guys, the person who designed the graphics and I both worked very hard on it.

I also tried my best to make sure it was viewed the same in every browser possible but, since I don't have a copy of all browsers, I did my best. :bandit2:

nice design?

sure its ok, but i don't see what all the hype is about...

good service lifelesshost, one of the few i've seen that aren't crap, but its people like the posters above that piss me off.

(that want to run ~nuke, with sites that probably attract no visitors etc etc... expect to have everything etc...)

good work!

Well tandoc, I take pride in more than how it looks. :bandit2:

The site itself is XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 2.0.

The support ticket system, forum and control panel are all themed to the site design.

I think its better than just being a bit more fancy, its original and not something from template monster. ;)

That's the big deal. It's not just another template.

Thanks darkcurves.

It was alot more work that a template from template monster but, it turned out nicely. :D

fair enough, didn't know it went as far as the forum or cp...

on the topic of xhtml or css2 complaincy, i couldn't really careless... :devious2:

i personally find those compliancy buttons fairly annoying, if it's a web standards compliant web page, good for you, but not worth putting a button on..

My 99c :classic2:

Hiya Mr LifelessHost,

if you can still remember this dumb --- whom pm you long time ago, you rulz. :)

Anyway, i saw that you finally got your site redesigned! That's good news considered that you are one of the better host out that and a lousy design(previous design) doesn't do ya any good!

Well in conclusion, i wish ya all the best in your hosting company and *big money!* :D

P.S: A site i managed might change to a new free host, you are be my best choice. :coolmusic

If i'm not mistaken, the previous design was by him. So consider yourself disqualified automatically. Hahahhaa.

LP-Trel
February 2nd, 2004, 05:59
Oh no, I don't design guys. ;)

I code and thats why the standards matter to me so much.

This design and a the previous design (blue) were images/partial coding done by someone else.

Oh well, at least I get some credit.. :bandit2:

By popular demand of our users due to fears over some services suffering hard drive crashes and similar problems, we now have daily automatic backup of users' files and databases.

The best just keeps getting better. :coolmusic

Yep, this host is superb! So generous and so helpful. I really recommend people to get a account in this wonderful host.

But use it wisely and DON'T ABUSE IT! :D

darkcurves
February 4th, 2004, 11:44
There is no way anyone can abuse this host, especially with Lifelesshost being the admin.:P

LP-Trel
February 4th, 2004, 19:56
There is always a chance for abuse but, I do watch things very closely and attempt to prevent it.

Thats what webhosts do though.. well real ones anyway. :bandit2:

Would you possibly accept sites that have not previously been up? Or do you only accept those developed already?

LP-Trel
February 5th, 2004, 22:11
We accept some non-developed with a concept design and it does help if you have an already active and developed website.

There are no absolutes really.

raiz
February 6th, 2004, 22:40
You don't accept gaming sites right?

LP-Trel
February 6th, 2004, 23:03
Sorry no, we prefer not to host sites related to gaming.

There are hosts out there that specialize in just hosting gaming websites.

:-) Nice site and services but I'd probably reword the bit in your links from 'Handy website for all your stupid questions before you ask us ;)' to something else, bit patronising if true :)
