Enom allows people that hold a reseller account to create accounts for their customers under their account for a certain price domain. This is how you get the 8.95 pricing.

They don't say what you can have, but they do say what you can't!!!!

That is correct, our system only makes allotments for image files on select sites where it is deemed needed.



2) No Audio or Video Files of any kind Permitted at all!


Yes we do forbid these, we are not here to host large movies for free. We provide website hosting, that is it.



3) No Photo Sharing Permitted at all!


Actually the TOU mentions that "photo albums or TGPs;" are forbidden. We are not here to host your family photos you took on vacation last year. There are image specific free webhosting providers that do this. :P



4) No sharing of ANY FILES of ANY kind!


I honestly don't know where you got this one from.



5) No Forum Sites Permitted!


That is No Forum ONLY Sites Permitted. We allow forums on our service as long as it is not the primary content of your website or all your site consists of.



6) No Spanned Archieves such as .rar, .zip etc...!


No we don't want to host your files that you want your friends to be able to download. We don't want to host the latest patches for the games you love. Fileplanet does a very good job of this already.



7) No Advertising Permitted At All, Including Amazon Wishlists! Those Brides Will Have To Suffer, NO WISHLISTS!!


We don't display advertising on your website and we don't allow you to either. If you want to profit from your website, pay for webhosting. ;)

Actually phpBBFM is not allowed due to the makers of the phpBBFM package not abiding by the terms of the GPL (General Public License). All the other scripts are banned for either security or resource reasons.

Actually it is exactly what we say here but, I did provide a clarification on my forum.

The clarification reads.. "Every member is not allowed to use "Up to 10000 MB of storage and
Up to 100000 MB of bandwidth". Members are allowed to apply for the amounts they need "Up to 10000 MB of storage and Up to 100000 MB of bandwidth". We do not provide this much to every member as it is impossible to provide so much for free. "

We do this for two reasons:

1) Very few webpages need the same resources to run, we distribute the resources a prospective website needs on a case by case basis. This way we can make sure websites just starting out aren't getting 1 GB of space and 10 GB of bandwidth they aren't going to use just because the owner wanted it.

2) We can make better use of our resources this way, hosting more websites at less cost to us. If a website needs more space or bandwidth, it is given on a case by case basis. We don't like our members being punished for growing or punished for being larger/more successful like they are with other providers.



Finally, and my favorite administrator post from yesterday, "We have extended the time in which you may receive a reply from 4 to 14 days"


This change was due to the volume of applications we receive. I don't want to see a web designer go without space and resources just because we had a backlog of applications that had to be deleted to catch up.

Most applications that are sent in are still handled in 2 - 4 days but, some take more time as more research has to be done and other applications are moved ahead in queue based on merit.

Since we had so many people enter, I decided to give away two domain names instead of one at the last minute to make the odds of winning better.

It is now March 2nd 12:05 AM CST and I am here to announce the winners of the FWS domain contest.

That is indeed the case, although you may not only host the movie files, there must be more content than just that. We are not a file host but, a webhost. :-)

The domain registration is for 1 year and will be all yours to do with as you please. Unfortunately the fee to re-register changed from 8.95 to 19.95 due to the registrar we chose to contract the registrations through. On another note you may transfer this domain to another registrar and reregister it for 8.95. I recommend reading up on how domain registrations work if you have any questions.
