I've been looking for a picture gallery for a while now, and I can't find what I want...Well I did, but it costs like $150 called the PhotoPost PHP Pro. And thats $150 more than I really wanna pay. SO I am looking for what maybe you guys out there use? if you do?

I would like it to be able to use the forums usernames/passwords... and thats about it, let users upload, and link their pictures. I just can't find anything that you don't have to pay for that will let users upload/search or intergrade with the forums...I am running Invision power board....I've bee looking on hotscripts.com (http://www.hotscripts.com/) under PHP...So let me know if any of you know of a program that is free, or very close to free, I know someone has been down this road before me, just wondering what you used??? or maybe you made one and you would be willing to lend me the script???

let me know.....thanks!!!

well I really do like IPB, but maybe I will look into phpbb but the only problem is swapping everything over, or do you know if I can keep the same DB or is there some way to switch the program over to run with IPB?

Most forums offer advice on converting your database over to their forum's, so have a look on phpBB's website. If they don't, then very likely someone else will have had to do it, and there'll be a script or something on the web that will do it for you. (Google time)

I personally would look at ways to get the IPB login carried over to another free photo display script. There'd be a way to do that too, though I don't know it. That way you keep your IPB forum, though it may be a bit of work initially.

If you don't know any PHP, you may be out of luck. I have, however, seen scripts and addons for IPB that use the IPB login, so have a look at those, you may find someone who has done something very similar to you that will be willing to help.
