Sounds like it was redelegated to someone else, but I know nothing about .kg domains. I'd pick a nice .com and be happy.

I dont think so because when i use domain.kg's whois feature the domain comes up with the same dns info i gave.

Do you mean that the PID you have is no longer yours? Doesn't that affect all your domains with .kg?

I dont think so. my PID still pertains to the domain i registered, but under someone else's email adress. the DNS info is still the same

I'm confused.
The PID is the one that holds the email address and owner's particulars. I think the registrar's database only has the domain name, the PID of the owner, the DNS servers, and registration/expiry date. It does not hold email address or the name of the owner. If the domain is now associated to a PID that is not yours, then you've lost the domain. If the domain is still associated with your PID, then you got the domain.
If it's not confidential, could you post the domain here, and let us take a look at what http://www.domain.kg says?

Its ok. Thanks for your help. I've got it all figured out. It was just domain.kg being kind of slow.
