The fact that my hosting is up and your isn't makes mine better than yours. That fact mine is a scam makes it better than yours. The Fact that I have 99.9% uptime makes it better than yours. I never said it was better... but it is.
Try http://www.below10host.com for better hosting than your are providing.

hmmm.
guys i think that isnt matter which host is good or bad.
i think most of all the service is given from you.(maybe its bad maybe its good, but what you gain from this ha?)yupapa do you gain money if i have signed up to you?heheh.maybe a little banners will give you a little.Maybe not.coz you do not put banners to pages.(thanks for it).
Hmmm i am stupid to understand situation.
but when i heard that yupapa's site isnt working i thought there will be some people which will and did make yupapa the worst man.
heheh.
I do not care about others but the people who help to others are good man.(you may think that i am yupapanian.hehe i even do not have site from him.its only my opinion.)
And plz stop this war.
what you gain from this?just think.

Maybe you should join other web hosts like the guy said on the previous message. For example: Glomar.net. They provide 3MB of web space and Email upload. The webmaster told me that they have 99.9% up time. So I think you should join them.

Listen guys, if Yupapa or Russo or whoever wants to do the world a favour and start a free webhost, it's their choice. They aren't forcing you to go and build your webpages there, so leave them alone.
Who cares how old they are - age doesn't matter, as long as you do a good job. There are a lot of people much older whose services are complete scams, so just because these people are young doesn't mean they're scammy.

Good job Yupapa. Now I guess those who doubt him from the beginning and thought that his site was down yesterday should think about it again. The reason his site was down yesterday was because he was busy putting up a new look to his site. I knew Yupapa will be back. :)

Hmm, Just a few questions for Yuppa. If they get too advanced for you, or you don't know just say so. Being pretty involoved with network topologies, etc. I can get carried away. But this is what I'd generally want to look for in a host.
1. Will it last:
a. Does it have any finanical backing
b. Can the Owner run in properly.
2. What type of server is it running on? For example, if it's running Windows, or anything like that, I realize right away, there is a lot more downtime, as well as great proformance issues under heavy loads. Meanwhile, if it's on a Solaris, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Debian, Progeny Linux, etc. It should be able to support a heavier load.
3. What type of connection is it on? T1, T3/DS3, OC-3, OC-12, etc.
4. Is there any connection redundincy? For example, if a connection, goes down, are there others around to take the place of it?
5. What Major Backbone providers is it connected to. UUnet, SprintLink, Intermedia/Digex, Level3, Exodus, AppliedTheory, Cable and Wireless, etc.
6. The ammount of sites crammed onto a single server. If the ISP provides server side services, such as SSI, CGI, PHP, etc., and has thousands of sites hosted on the server, with many of them deploying these services, will my sites proformance be greatly affected.
I think thats enough questions for now to have you answer. No problem, If you can't answer all of them, I just want to get a generalized idea of your capabilities.
Thanks In Advanced

If it wasn't for the bandwidth limit I would sign up. But with only 600MB a month, it isn't worth it. Digital Rice and F2S offer the same thing, and more. If you raised the free plan's bandwith to 2 or 3 GB you would have a lot more sign-ups.
Just offering a little advice.

Yet again, he is not answering any real questions directed to him. As in how he plans to keep it alive, what connection, server type and OS.
And that 600mb of bandwidth, is that a month? That is pretty low.
Also, you say that all your plans are unix, but there is a pic of a windows 2000 box, and a big thing that says "Windows NT Server" or whatever. Neither of those are unix there pal, what are they there for?
Also there is a box of redhat linux, and the freeBSD devil really big in the corner. Which is it? Exactly what flavor of unix are you using?

I think you should buy a dedicated server because you have lots of transfer and need tons of space. That doesn't mean you can't sign up my hosting package, but you must remember there is a limit. 5GB is 5GB and 10GB of bandwidth is 10GB. You can store anything you want on your account as long as they are not illegal. For example: mp3 is not allowed. Sites that have Adult mp3 or warez content will be removed immediately. I don't mean that you are hosting this kind of site, but I just want to let everyone knows that if they are going to sign up for my service.

(Sorry, but I just had to rant a bit. I'm fine now.) Welcome to the Internet, my friend!
Yupapa's English isn't native. Nor is mine. It never stops to amaze and amuse me how some people refuse to see there is a world outside the village they live in. That often apply to ways of thinking, morals, whatever.
FYI the world consists of people speaking different languages, eating different food, having different religions and living in societies with different sets of rules for morals and acceptable behavior, ruled by different political and economical systems.
You should visit some day. Maybe you will even like it. You are welcome.

Neo-M. isn't using a false quote. He isn't using a quote at all :) It's italicized, not put in parentheses.
Also, I applaud anyone who even attempts to learn the English language. It's a very difficult language to learn (right up there with Japanese) because for every rule in it there is an exception, and there is a constantly changing and widely varied spectrum of slang terms and connotations.

I think you start talking to me all the time on ICQ because I don't even have you on my list LOL!!!
I want to save the history about what we've argued actually and then post it on my site! Can you send it to my email account? webmaster@yupapa.com! I can't view the history because as I said, you are not on my list... so everytime I offline, the history will be removed. Don't tell me you don't believe this because you have ICQ and you should know...

No kidding. What is wrong with my site? It is a cleaner design... despite having no Flash (I hate Flash, it takes most of my users to long to load). And most seem to enjoy my site according to one of my polls on my site...

May 18th, 2001, 21:29
Nothing wrong with it actually. I told you it is a good design on ICQ

What's the point of any of this? Whose site is better is just a matter of opinion, and not much to do with politics. The way I see it jst choose the host you like, stop fighting, and behave. This entire thread looks ridiculous what with all the bickering and senseless argument. Keep it to ICQ or whatever, or email.

I love reading Yupapa's topic and posts. They are hillarious to read (not only on this forum but also on Yupapa's own forum at his site). :)
