Ok, since I wanted a host that would allow publishing through Frontpage, I decided to go to Tripod. Sign-up and everything is easy. However, I have ran into a problem:
I published all my pages and files(about 30 megs or so), and I cannot at all access the files I uploaded through their filemanager. Only way I can do it is by viewing the directory structure at my http://www.members.tripod/usernam address. Also, it's complicated to really know where my homepage is, how I set up and chose the index.htm file, and whatnot. To me, Tripod is not a very good service, at least not for mediocre users like me. I thought it would be easier using a Frontpage compliant host, but, FTP is much easier, even though it's a hassle keeping a track of your files and all that stuff.

Any help/hints is appericated.

Thanks.

ok...

I don't know anything about frontpage extentions, but I do know that on tripod, you have to enable them, it's a link when you log in. Then you have to have a file called index.htm (or .html) in your main directory, that is the page you want to load first.

Also on tripd, you have to make sure that you do not use the www when typing in you subdomain. Your site is at http://yourname.tripod.com OR http://www.members.tripod.com/yourname

Hope that helps.

Ok. I see what you are saying about that index.htm(l) file. However, I would have been able to do that if I could be able to view the files I have uploaded...I am able to see my pages, but none of my images.
