View Full Version : Help needed: default banners

I am currently using Fastclick and Google Adsense banner advertising on my site.
However, I have never given attention to default banners. I have not/never specified any on both Fastclick and Google Adsense.
Now I have some questions, and I hope someone can help me out with them. :-)
1) I know they show default banners, but can I somewhere check out how much of the impressions are defaults? I guess not, I couldn't find anything in their publishers login pages...
2) It is probably worth adding my own default banners. Can someone suggest me some company's to set as defaults?
That's all right now. :classic2:

fastclick only shows your default ammount if you specify a custum default.
Google dosnt have such stats
In average with fastclick I managed to get about 80% defaults...
I'v since then dropped them and using Them as default.
My chain:
TribalFusion -> BurstMedia -> ValueClick -> Fastclick
+
Adsense on each apage somewhere
Maybe try putting some banner exchanges as your defaults?

One question, how did you get Accepted into TribalFusion if they requiere a Website with 1000 Uniques per Day?
I'm just asking because I want to join :)

Tribalfusion is hard to get accepted into.
You can apply but they are very selective.
For defaults from fastclick banners I suggest clickxchange, bundsinc (maybe), or focusin with popups deactivated which you must request. If you are running fastclick popunders you definately need a default provider there, I suggest popuptraffic.

TribalFusion seems a bit unrealistic for my site. I don't meet the required 1000 unique visitors/day.
My site has already been rejected by BurstMedia months ago, but I will try to re-apply for BurstMedia later today or tomorrow. Maybe things have changed. :-)
Does someone know the minimum required unique visitors/day for ValueClick?

Short update:
- I applied as publisher at BudsINC, but my site was rejected.
- Still waiting for a response of BurstMedia.
Can anyone else suggest me a good alternative?

Clickxchange and focusin are default options. They accept almost all sites.

- All my clickxchange earnings are cleared because my account became "inactive".
- I will probably use FocusIN as alternative if I can't find any other option. I have sent them an e-mail asking whether it is possible or not to disable all pops and download prompts, otherwise I won't use them.
EDIT: Only 10 minutes later, FocusIN already replied to tell me pops and others have been disabled. :-)

Yes, focusin is a good choice, and they remove all pops after emailing them.
And they pay on time.
