How to make a php-nuke template

can somebody tell me how to make a php nuke template if i want to change the layout of the website... is there are special codes or anything else i ve to use???

I am not familiar with PHP-Nuke yet, though I will be looking into it to start designing templates, I skin for LDU so I imagine there are tags you need in the skin.
