Does anyone know of a freewebspace provider who does provide that?

What is your f2s site (full URL), and I'll recommend you options.

You can use a power search on freewebspace.net's service for domainhosting and you get about 30 something results.
Here's the URL for the Power Search: http://www.freewebspace.net/search/advanced.shtml

Couldn't you use MyInternet.com to point a cname (as a redirect) to your f2s site? Or... maybe use the DNS service at CentralInfo.net and have the subdomain redirected through wzr.net or jdx.com. They both work for me.

the url for my site at f2s is http://www.noeska.f2s.com.
So it seemed plausible to me that a cname to that adres would work but it did not. It seems that they look up every call to their server and match it with a known name for them so only http://www.noeska.f2s.com would be valid as an calling adres and not www2.noeska.com so it displays their standard not hosted page.
The only thing i can do is to use forwarding with a frameset just like i did for http://www.noeska.com that forwards to www4.ewebcity.com/noeska. (the server there is under maintenance for the moment so you wont see me page there until tomorow.

Hmmm, well then redirect with frame will do then I suppose. I set up a cname off of one of my domains just for the heck of it, but the DNS server has to update still, so it doesn't work yet. From what you say, it won't anyway, so...

I tried to set up a cname off of one of my domains and it didn't work. Blah. The wild card just directed it to my site. Maybe because you have to include the www as well...

But you did not get the standard not hosted page?

I stay with forwarding using a frameset. There is a limet with what one can get for free i gues.

Under maintenance??? Geez... When aren't those people "under maintenance"? I had two sites there and they went down for a "server upgrade" or something to that effect and it was down for several days before I gave up and moved.... Kept checking back and they were down for over a month.... No wonder they're ad-free...
