Heres a little pointless thing to do with your SE, get into the service menu by going to the normal standby screen and pressing
--> * <-- <-- * <-- *
(right, star, left, left, star, left, star)
then go to service tests and joystick counter. I have 175572 joystick moves!
It doesn't work on all SE phones but still pointless fun!

So does mine. Anything else is stupid. (Besides caller ID, 3-way calling, call forwarding, and voicemail)

SMS is only handy when people are trying to reach me via IM when I'm gone.
Like anyone ever calls or SMSs me anyways :crying5:

My cellphone is analog from 1993, allowing me to eavesdrop on other conversations. wooh.

See, that's the thing, SMS is stupid. It's only purpose for existence is that people have short attention spans and a simple convenient phone just doesn't cut it anymore, and that's just dumb.

It's for 14 year old twinks, and middle aged spammers.

They're huge though, several inches thick, with an LED display.
Oh and a 'twink', in my vocabulary at least, is a young rich girl who is all talk and listens to pop music.

As for sms
Sms can be quite usefull
My cell is by the minute, so I prefer to waste 10cents for an sms then 30cents for a 5 seconds call.
I'll be there in 15 minutes, wait for me downstairs
Example of my sms's

actually its a cheap way of giving someone a quick message. plus if your on a plan like mine its an dollar per min compared with a 25 cents per sms. much cheaper just to sms them then call them.

If you only need to make 5 second phone calls, you don't need a cell phone.
Wojtek
March 7th, 2004, 23:59
for 5 sec calls its cheaper then using a public phone
public phone = 25 cents/call
cell = 10cents/min with package billed by the second
A cell is conveniant.
call a friend your late, call mom when your late, mom can call when your late, etc :)

If you're stuck at a place without a public phone, you'll use your cell/handphone.
