I wouldn't say school exactly, since I'm at NUS ;) But my group is hosting this camp at Jalan Behtera for Nan Hua Sec. My faculty takes the same holidays as them ;)

Personally I don't like the xbox. Too bulky. Hate the controller.

Why would size of the console mather?
You put it in your room under the TV and it sits there, no?
My dreamcast hasnt been moved since the day I hooked it up.
The controllers are on the big side, yea, but you get used to them.

Good purchase trenz, have fun :)

I'm happy for you trenz, but say w00t one more time, and I will eat your face.

Anyway, I love the X-box. Originally I had my doubts, but NHL 2K4 and Halo multiplayer changed all that for me. Really, the games are no different than the PS2, which I also love, so you could go either way on that one. Sure beats doing homework.

Halo multiplayer is teh win. I don't remember my favorite level but it's that one with the thin catwalks and the big pit in the middle with the assault rifle and health pack in it. Friend of mine got an xbox for his birthday and 4 controllers...the smaller ones of course.

wanna buy my ps2 while your at it?

i myself hate computer games and console games.. so every term break.. a bunch of my friends and i bring our comps to each others house.. play games for a good 36hours straight.. +8 hours eating/drinking/sleeping... and we're ready for the next term.. let's us have better grades >_<

congrats of the console.. i suggest playing it thoroughly.. as playing during school doesn't help.. having parents who get pissed off at me getting B's is annoying [/offtopic]

Ocore

I got in NYGH in 1996... Wasn't that good at that time, but still one of the top schools... I got 278, though. :D O Levels, 6 pointer, minus-ed CCA and Higher Chinese, left with 2. Went with ACJC 'cos I wanted a better humanities course, and at that time VJC had not established their theatre works properly, while RJC's Humanities' Programme wasn't too established either ;)

trenzterra
March 10th, 2004, 07:19
Woah what primary school were you from? 278 is an outstanding score.. I heard NJC is quite good, did you consider there?

Ocore
March 10th, 2004, 07:24
Henry Park Primary... ;) And yes, I did consider NJC, but they emphasized more on chinese [then] :p And seeing me, the first one to shrug off chinese after I got to U.. teehee ;)

It was, it was. It's a SAP school [like yours :p] but ask around. I only have a handful of friends who furthered their chinese. Most of us threw ours away once we got out of NYGH, actually. Since most of us got A1s or A2s :p
