Hmm, i'm not sure where can i post my problem as a web host at fws.net and this forum has been more like a request forum. Anyway, i have this question. I have a user that uses URL like http://www.57host.biz/~username/ instead of his domain because he can't change the DNS. At my WHM, it says he used 0 data transfer. That's odd. Since, he has been using the account for 1 weeks already and i'm sure he gets some hits. Where is all the data transfer he is using? Does this mean he has bandwidth limited to my reseller account? Hope my explaination is easy to understand. Thanks. :-)

For as far that I know this traffic is not counted , so you cannot monitor it when you use ~theirname.
We always use subdomains , then it will count the traffic :)
Kind Regards,

It is the responsibility of your host (the company that is operating the server your reseller account is on) to fix this issue. cPanel provides ways to count ~username bandwidth usage along with ways to disable this feature all together.

Hi,
Don't allow that, also close SMTP Port, only Root can send eMails, OpenBasedir Protection is also a Good Choice :applaudin
About the transfer, is true Cpanel doesn't measure Datatransfer if they access in that way :chinese2:

To avoid the use of your SMTP Server externally, I have that security feature on WHM

Set up a redirect then and tell them about it. Also you can also try to discourage them by telling them that some search engines do not like addresses that has ~ inside.

so you're saying none of your clients can use smtp? I hope you mean free clients. Because those who paid, who want an smtp. And smtp can be sent to only rely those who authenticate themselves first.
