Internal Counter?

I am curious if there is a cgi/pearl/etc. counter that you can just store on your webpage and view on your site i.e. counter.yoursite.com.

It should have some nice detailed stats and etc. If anyone knows one, hopefully for free ^_^ please inform me :D

not 100% sure, what you want, but I think you want a counter (better detailed statistics about visitors) and don't want that to be displayed on your main pages, which should be tracked. But you want a diffrent page... preferable only accessible for you with the statistics /counter info...

I would suggest you use axs! Is written in Perl. Just take a look at the sites with free cgi-scripts and take a look under the category logging or counter and you should also find other scripts.
