I'm planning on setting up a remotly hosted forum service.
First I was thinking about phpBB, but it has pretty mutch files (500 kb in total) and you need a separete database for each one you install. So I'm looking for a forum in max 10 files that doesn't use MySQL and that is easy to install.

if you want a good forum, you're gonna need a lot more than 10 files

I know a good forum uses more then 10 files, but I want to translate them and if it are like 100 files that's going to be verry hard. I don't mind a MySQL database, as long as it uses only 1 table.
I know ultraboard has only 2 files (admin and public)+ the datafile, but I don't like the way it shows the posts.

Almost every good forum will have at least 20
