I wrote a little script tonight and am thinking about offering to my users in there manager section. I would like some feedback on it maybe some suggestions of other search engines. There currently is no advertising on it but would be if integrate it with the rest of my scripts.

So what does that number mean? I came back with a link popularity of 150 for the website I work on at work.

Link popularity is a mixture of how many times your domain is actually in the search engine, plus how many people are linking to you<if the search engine supports it>. What search engines would you like added and I will get to it ASAP. I will be doing some work on this script over the weekend.

Nice, but it would be more interesting if it separated how many sites that link to the URL and how many times it turns up in the engine. Is that possible?
BTW are the numbers for the latest month or what?

How about including the most important search engine of them all.

Yahoo

Ok, Yahoo is added.

aiewi would be nice. I couldn't get the site to do anything consistent so it would be very hard to parse the results. IF anyone knows how the engine works I might be able to do more.

Well, this would be possible, butwhat this script is useful in knowing the total, plus, only about half of the engines support both. If there is interest in adding that, I will go ahead and do it though :) .
The numbers are for TOTAL in the engines, I would see no other way to seperate by month, again if you know how it might be interesting

Also, I attempted to get metacrawler, but it is a little ****************** so I will tackle it again later.

HAve a good evening, and keep up the suggestions
Thanks
