Hi All

I`ve not posted here before, didn`t even know it was alive ;)

I've often wondered this too. When a host says they offer say, 1 gig bandwidth, what exactly does that mean? Does that mean you can only have a certain number of hits?

Bandwidth is counted as the total amount of downloaded data. When a page is refreshed, certain parts my be called from a user's cache reducing the load demand -- anything not in teh user's cache is downloaded again and is counted towards your bandwidth usage. Some hsots also include ftp and email into bandwidth usage.
