The response times seem okay.
They've been around six years thus far (or the domain has anyway), and the domain is registered until 2009.
They run webppliance as their control panel - I'm unfarmilar about that.
My only worry is their pricing, it does seem cheap. Try and find some current clients and see what they think, directly from them.
<edit>
I sent them a support question - response was fast (good), and they said this:
All our server loads are bellow 1. We don't add more then 150 clients per server.

I have Canaca and can truly say that they have to be the worst run companies in North America, their speed was decresed as I get downloaded files as slow as 1.3kbs or Dropped...and I have DSL!
There seems to be no tech support, one can only talk to them via an email invite, which they wont give me...and I have emailed them plenty!!
Canaca Is completley un-usable to me as I am in search of a new web and file storage host...
If you go with Canaca, you may be risking a company going out of business soon and completly losing all your up-front money....
Canaca gets a big zero nada....

The b/w seems totally inproportionate to the space.

they are good....but dont allow downloads to take up more than 20% of your bandwidth ratio...the rest must be html and pictures.......also they dont accept paypal....so im a bit suspisious

Canaca's network seems to be dropping packets thus why your downloads are slow.

Be careful. they post 3.95$ per month for their cheapest plan but it's actually 6.95$
It's only 3.95 when you prepay for a whole 24 months!!!
and on their registration form they don't show exactly how much they will charge clearly.
Don't get scamed by their fake prices.

Canaca seems to be slow 'losing packets' again, my speeds are again downloading @ 15kbs and I have....DSL... the 99.9% uptime is a lie.... :shame: Hope they fix it soon, too many problems with Canaca!

Do not expect to receive bill, invoices or reciepts. Do not expect much customer service or support. Do not pay by credit card as you may be billed well into the future. I have money owed to me. The only contact Canaca has initiated with me in the last two years has been debits to my credit card (they don't even host for me anymore). My money is all they have been concerned about. Rating 0 out of 10.
