Hey back to the skyscrapers situation again. I need to find other networks besides advertising .com since there system differs greatly.

So anyone know any other skyscraper ads or new ones?

Zonfire/L90 offers skyscrapers.

Many of them are serving defaults though.

engage are going to offer them I think, but at the momant they are only taking names, you have to be a member already though I think, and they are not currently active I don't think, But woudl not know as I have not asked to be able to run them.

Engage's alternative sizes are not active. Personally, I posted my request, but I don't see why Engage was even asking (except for self-promotional means). It's quite obvious that publishers are ready to experiment with alternative sizes. The question is whether or not advertisers are as keen...

Many of the networks are trying to build their inventory on the skyscrapers. Some networks are just running default CPA skyscrapers.

Perhaps with the entrance of traditional brick & mortar companies into the internet advertising arena, we will start to see some really high CPMs for these ads.

CBSMarketWatch used to have a really cool Budweiser skyscraper. :). Anyone see it?

The reason why nobody wants to use the large banner sis because the price of running 468x60 is so cheap when compared to them other sizes, This will change though I guess.

Even I am incopertaing some large ad sizes into my new version of my site as I know I need to.

Skyscrapers are generally 120x600 or 160x600 in dimension (IAB/CASIE approved). I've also seen quite a few 100x600 and 160x800 creatives in use on some of the larger properties.

Small sites could use Sponsorships.net's sponsor box to simulate skyscrapers, or design a custom banner for use with ClickThruTraffic.
