Yeah but even after you cancel your Gmail account, Google keep all the emails etc. - for legal purposes or something prolly...

google scans your email so they can put relavent text ads on there site... but i like the 1g space...i could email myself most video games and still have room...anyway i thought they were still in beta testing why is this brought up?

I have was on blogger.com (division of google) working on my blog and I got offered to use it. So i went and used it. It is wonderful! I love it. And then I was allowed to invite two people to try it out too. So i have sent one off already but still have one. so I posting here offering it to somone. If you want it someone has already beat you to first place with four behind him. Still waiting for reply from first place. guy has 24 hours.

How many MBs have you used up? I'm a person who likes cleaning up my mailbox, so if it is based on how much space you use, I might never get the option to invite. :(

It's not about the number of mb's you have. Some people thought this and they like said send me mail... they occupied like 200 mb and still didn't get to be able to invite. When google will want more people to be able to get a acounts they will give the existing user more invites to give.

I am one who likes to clean up when using a webmail service but does not care on my POP3 Client

I have already transferred my porn mails onto my Gmail account. It's now weighing 62MB! :D

At the time you posted that ash i could access gmail without any problem. I didn't notice any downtime.

Well, it seems like many people had the same problem as I did. Sent an e-mail to Google and it's fixed now. :)
