counters keep breaking?

I've tested several counter scritps, and the same problem occurs each time... It gets reset after some days, usually during a traffic peak.

Is this because two persons are trying to access the file at the same time or what can I do to fix this. I've never noticed this with thecounter.com (although it doens't show up half the time)...

Yeah, you'll need to find a better solution. The problem with most scripts is that they use a text file which can get corrupted VERY easily if you have high traffic.

I suggest you either use a HitBox or similar counter service or get a counter that uses SQL.
