You can check www.webhostingtalk.com and www.sitepointforums.com for comments on past users.
Do a search here and in the other forums and you should turn up quite a few postings.

You will not be unhappy @ Tera-Byte.com. Tera-byte.com offers the best support I've seen. They are a great company owned by a great person. They also own --------/redirection.net/4webspace.com.
I say SIGN UP!!!

Do they allow a new domain on sign-up and if so how much is it with them and how fast is it with you, I ask this as I reg a new domain with below10 and they were great, their reg of a new domain was done within 24 hours.

Tera-byte is the first of choice for me. I can pay a little bit extra compared to other because they offer great support and features. Uptime is great also, monitors on my site show that in the past 86 days (Term Of Hosting So Far) I have had 0.00% downtime.
Gotta Love That!

Well I`ve just had an email regarding my new domain and it states that ithas been completed and

Thats not bad at all, so I should get another email soon regarding my hosting, nice one Tera-Byte. :)

My account looking at the records took around 5 hours to be setup. I guess it's a different matter if you register a domain name through them.
Be patient (As I was Told) it will come ;)

It must take abit longer when reg a domain, I did get another email not long after posting in this thread with my hosting details, but the password if naff, so I had to email them back...I forgot to place my domain name in my email...lol, their support isn`t bad at all, I got an email asking for the domain name this morning, so it`s looking good. :)

Well it was my cock up, I cut and pasted the username from my email that I got and it didn`t like that...lol, I was in touch with Brenda via email regarding a few things once I sorted out my password problem and she was ace, as soon as I sent one email...5 mins later an answer was in my email box, good support :)
One thing I`m not much for is the control panel, but other than that I set up my Vbulletin gold within minutes and it runs great, summing up I`m impressed.

They just took half an hour to set up our server. That's impressive right? :)

Tera-byte are probably one of the best webhosts on the market. I've been with them for 1 year maybe longer and they have been excellent. They set my virtual account up straight away. My dedicated server was setup in under an hour of ordering it. Every bit of work weve asked them todo has been done and ram upgrades have been done without any problems. For a company there size they provide awesome support.

Lynks, how do you monitor your site?
There's been several times that i couldn't get to my site, sometimes up to an hour (and who knows how long before that). Also, the MySQL Database has had several times that it was offline, a few times where it even took a whole day for them to get it back up.
The speed, on the other hand, is good though. Of course i hardly have anything to compare it with, but it seems fast (on DSL).

I`ve only had it happen once as yet that I can`t connet on ftp and that only lasts about 5-15mins if that, my new domain name came into action on the server after 3 days and all is well, fast with no problems at all. :)

Cheap Bastard (nono, I am not scolding you), maybe you should ask them about the problems in IRC chat room. Sometimes they never notice the problem until someone told them.
