If you had an entertainment/personals site that generated this much traffic, how would you try and make money off of it?

If you charge for subscription, you'll end up losing a lot of your visitors because the'll just go to the one next door that doesn't charge. If you try and sell banner space, there aren't many that would want to buy because the click-thru ratio is so low, due to the nature of the site (even if you charge less than $1 CPM).

Anyone have any ideas?

You could try CJ.com and find links that relate to your site or use programs like texttraffic form SI. Its all about experimentation and dont depend on the CPM people as they will get you knowhere at all.

yeah even if you put up a banner play around with it for a while and find out people dont use it, whats the harm?

here's the strange part
it's not the advertiser's part to create an interesting ad... it's your job to make a useless ad interesting
