Hey
Can some professional web designers review my site and maybe give me tips on how to improve navigation, graphics, etc.
It is: http://www.infantrysector.f2s.com
I have to admit, I think it is one of the best sites i've ever made but I think it still needs some improving.
Also, if age factors in to your evaluation, I'm only 13, hehe :D
Thanks in advance... btw I realise most of the links dont work!

The site looks just fine and load very fast for me. The black background color with the white fonts made the site color very sharp.

I like your forum and its color schemes.
Good Job!

Your site looks good on first sight. :) That's all the positive feedback I have to give, now comes the constructive.
Two dominating colors are bad, more are worse. Although you don't have a colorful and screamy site, the problem remains. Especially the green and blue clash, and the red does the last to thoroughly ruin the color scheme (sorry there).
Try using a different font for the 'infantry sector' at the top of the page, too.
Also, your site looks very large because of the big menu, but in fact, it isn't. Cut back on that before you tell people where it is, it's confusing to be told to click somewhere and then not have it work.
Also, try to get one and the same font for everything in the side - small exceptions like the "headlines" on the frontpage are to be expected, but everything beyond that destroys your image.
Well, there's more, but I'm too lazy to give a really detailed review right now.
As for age, I don't think it counts. It counts how long you've had internet access and/or how long you've been building webpages (and yes, there are people who start building before they get online).

I don't know what Hime is talking about, it looks perfectly fine to me. Although he is right that you have a few to many dominating colors, maybed try changing some of the colors to match that of your header image. Just a suggestion.

"Sorry you did not win. Better luck next time" damned :) but the font color of that one is NOT readeble (??). Good and simple navigation system with mouseOver colorshemes :) Dead link (forum main page) but cool one (use YaBB too :D

Looks like you've come a LONG way since then. :) Your infantrysector.com website is pleasing to the eye. As soon as you get all your pages and links up and working, you'll have a top-notch site. (assuming you keep all the content promised by your menu) Your webdesign is quite impressive. (at least I think so) One tiny nitpick though - there is a horizontal scroll bar with 800x600 resolution. I think it's due to the Date you have along the top bar, but I could be wrong. Try moving it over a bit. But that's just being picky. :)

Thanx alot WarGeneral... I didn't know about the 800x600 horizontal scrollbar, but I am going to fix it by adding leftmargin="0" into the body tag!

In addition to the 800x600 resolution problem, I suggest you use another shade of gray for the section header boxes. (e.g. General, Infantry, Survey, etc.) Something two or three shades lighter than the gray used in the menu-boxes.
