I'm am about (maybe a 3 weeks or so away) to purchase an around the world flight ticket.
I am pretty much free on what countrys I choose to visit/stay in (as long as its all within 6 months).
The ticket is costing a bomb (but I get to take my daughter for free).
A question before I buy it, where should I go (this is limited to main airports around the world).
I am also looking for people to give me and my daughter free accomodation (for no more than a week a stop).
Anyone any ideas before I take the plunge and plan my vacation thouroughly.
I know I will be visiting Denver and Japan (got accomodation sorted in these places already).
? ? ? ? ? ? ?

that is an awesome thing to purchase, and something I can see myself purchasing.
Definately see Greece and Italy, and come to Canada too.
I'd offer you and your daughter space in my home, but I'm a bit off the beaten track as far as major airports go.

Plus...people should keep their daughters away from Gayowulf.
<edit> also, one country I personally have always wanted to see was Norway. Just a thought.

pro5ject doesn't have to worry for quite some time.
edit: unless he brings his wife :D
I'd definately go to norway or sweden. I tried to be in international exchange student to sweden last year, but my marks weren't high enough.

Come to Singapore :p Changi Airport is the only 5 star airport in the world.
But too bad my place's a little small, can't accomodate, but there are cheap hotels here.

How about coming to Miami?
Would you mind staying in a 4 bedroom guest house with 2 bathrooms, a private pool and someone to look after you? You could also borrow a a brand new 2004 Lexus IS300 and a boat. Plus you will have access to the private country golf club that OJ simpson, Dan Marino, Gloria Estefan, JLO, and others use.
Sounds good?
Good. When ya find where that place is, let me know! :D

I plan to buy it in 3 weeks or so, and the trip will start on my birthday 9th jan 2005 - all going well - so a few months to plan for it.
(I assume your offer of staying at yours is still on, if not I most probably can arrange somewhere to stay in the colorado area.

I am not 100% certain yet, due to the fact the price will be on the amount of stops I take, length of stops, and the places I go.
I estimate on not going over £2,500 (that is for 6 months, and I only plan on leaving my country for 1.5 of those - that was the cheapeast quote I got, luckily I'm not paying, my farther is :D)

my farther
Father, papa, pops, dad, daddy, padre, old man, faja and finally, farther... Now I have heard quite possibly every common variation for the word father.
:tongue2:
