Ok..Does anyone on here KNOW what unlimited means? IT MEANS THERE IS NO LIMIT!! NONE NONE NONE!! NO file size limit. NO space limit. NO bandwidth limit..And we allow all file types. (as far as i know)

That's reassuring, coming from a person who doesn't know his own URL.

Like i said a million times, I DO NOT OWN MIFIX. I only WORK there. Ben may have changed some of the file type rules. He is so smart and works so fast that i cant even catch up with him. lol..

Is there a mySQL database at mifix.net?
If yes then how do i access it?

MySQL is installed, but for some reason when you try to access it, its says Host not allowed to use this MySQL database. We are working on it though.

How can you even try to access it if theres no info on how to do that?
BTW, the members login doesnt work either.
Hope everything turns out good for mifix.net

I can't even get into the FTP. It says password invalid, but the same password works to login to the utilities in the utilities section... I may have got the FTP address wrong ,I used ftp.mifix.net

Well.. since they're paid hosting now.. I'm sure they're really reliable to be worth your money huh?[/sarcasm]
deleting member sites without warning = not a good sign
Heh.. it's kinda funny.. first their little forum community were like, "Mifix is GOD I bow down to you!", now their like "DIE MIFIX DIE DIE DIE!!!".. heh.

Yeah, they wont last very long at all as a paid host.
Im going to get flamed for saying that, so let the flaming begin...
Here, ill give you all a head start:
"Oh, Give them a chance, they are trying..."
"They had problems cuz they couldnt get money from advertisng, this way they will be able to afford what they are offering..."
"yadda yadda, blah blah blah..."

We offer paid hosting now? I didnt know that. But I do know that if we start paid hosting we will probally get T1 or T3 or something. Anyways, we could handle the bandwitdth, its just some of the users were abusing the services and causing the server connection speed to almost stop.

Talk about organization...
For one, a T1 will not handle what you offer.
Two, You say your on a 2mb connection, wouldnt going to a t1 downgrade that?
Three, If you cant afford a box for your server, how are you going to afford $250 000 for a T3?

I don't think they have a 2mbps upstream.. T1 is only 1.544mbps which would be a downgrade as you say.
The fastest I have seen off mifix was 19kb/s, it got to the stage I was very lucky to see 1.9kb/s
Mifix's attitude is totally foul. As can be seen here (http://www.mifix.net/forum.cgi?discuss&news&26) where Ben replied
You guys are just plain stupid. Ok, fine. We won't host websites, ok? Stop thinking that the purpose for this site is for web hosting because it's not!!! Ok? Can we get the message through your thick heads or not? Go to www.digital-host.net to get a free web host
Really great attitude
