Lifelesspeople.com is currently looking for people who speak any of the following languages to translate member content into English should the need arise.

1) Dutch
2) Chinese
3) Extension of 2, general Asian translator.
4) French
5) German
6) Spanish
7) Your language here!

To qualify you must be able to speak very good English, I should not have to strain to understand you. You should be able to hold a normal conversation in English.

In return for this position you will receive a webhosting account varying in size depending on what language/languages you can speak.

You've used a translator. This is a forum in which you shouldn't be speaking formally to the originating poster. Thus, unless you were Belgian, you'd be saying ``je'' or ``jou'' instead of ``u''. Additionally, you translated the sentence to ``Hi that I should love to translate for you'' (formal). You would have said ``Ik zou het leuk vinden om dat voor je te vertalen'' or something similar.

I noticed that ``to love'' was literally translated in all of the languages, meaning that you are loving (as in to love a person) to translate the stuff for him.

I don't mean to be rude, but I think it's better that native language speakers should translate the stuff and not a website or translation program. They generally do a very poor job. Try translating something from Italian, then whatever language, then translate it back to see what I mean.

Perhaps so, but it sure doesn't look like it. At least two of the language samples are poorly translated. And perhaps the person can speak all of them, but this is about writing the langauges and this person has demonstrated that he or she cannot adequately translate a simple sentence when writing it.

This is just my two cents.

Oh yeah. Also:



i can speak: FRENCH, GERMAN, ENGLISH, SPANISH, ITALIAN, DUTCH, PORTROGESE and RUSSIAN.. i can understand those writings and can speak those languages. i can write and have a conversation in: ALL ABOVE, including SIMPLE CHINESE, TRADITIONAL CHINESE, and NORWEIGEN. I cannot understand those 3 above in writing, you know, translate properly


It is ``Portuguese'' and ``Norwegian''. If you can write and have a conversation in ``all above'' including ``simple chinese, traditional chinese and norweigen [sic]'', why can't you write in what I assume to be ``simple chinese, traditional chinese, and norweigen [sic]''? Also, forgive me if I'm wrong, but there's no difference speaking ``Simple and Traditional Chinese''. The only difference between the two is the character set... you don't speak it either way (although it is very possible that you could not read the two). Also, forgive me to pry, but why's Italian your ``home language'' if you're located in Australia?

Look, I'm not trying to be mean or something. I just think that you should actually be a native speaker or have had experience living in the culture to translate and it's just really obvious that you have not.

This may be strange to you how i speak to you now but i use a translator. I live in Rome. I can speak italian for you.
I know little english but i use a translator to translate english page to italian and i can put italian word to english for you to understand me.
I can do this for you, speak italian.
And help people that are from my country two.
