What do you think of DoubleClick? ( http://www.doubleclick.net )

I need an advertiser for a site that shows around 500.000 ads/month and I think I might use DoubleClick but I would like to know what you think.

correct me if i'm wrong, but doubeclick still is the only one reporting a profit eveyr once in a while. Not to mention they're the industry leader.

I'd say apply, and hope you get accepted...

500,000 isn't enough to get into Doubleclick.

3 million probably won't get you in as well, for that matter. They are really into professional sites, or what your probably will call "branded"

Like solace said, If you're heavily "branded" they will accept you.

eg. If you get one thousand impressions per month and had two ads in the superbowl, a few ads on busses and an ad budget online you'd probaly be accepted instantly.

If you were a massive website recieving 10 million impressions per month focusing on three different topics, and had no branding power whatsoever, they'd probaly turn you away.

Although you can always try! :)

Unless these sites possessed recognizable offline brands, they weren't in DoubleClick Select/DoubleClick Branded Network.

Chances are, the sites were actually using DART to manage their own sales, or they were a member of another network who employs DoubleClick's DART rotator (such as Luna Network, Sonar Network (now DoubleClick Audience), Click2Advertising or Banner-Mania).
