Looks pretty spiffy! Nice, how the circular blue pattern shows continuity between the title and the menu. Here's a couple o' suggestions...
- Make the menu box all blue, using the same radial pattern as a background, then with the rollovers just as they are. (That's just a thought, though. If you've tried it already and it didn't look balanced, then leave it as it is.)
- Your resume link should go straight to an HTML resume, with links on the side to other formats.
- "digital" is mispelled in your TITLE tags on the digital pictures page. :)
- Where are the cat photos! I love cats! :D

Looks good. Colours and design work well.
My only suggestions are to cut down on the unused space under the news and links. Also there is a horizontal scrollbar in 800X600 which serves no purpose.

how do I get rid of the horizontal bar? I thought I designed it for 800x600.

You need to change the size of your main table.
Your code for the main table:
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" ]width="770" align="center">
You will find that anyone viewing with a bigger resolution will get loads of empty space, giving a very lonely view of your site. Try changing it to % values eg width="100%" or something like that. It should get rid of the scrollbar and fill up the space in bigger resolutions.
A word of warning. It may knock everything else out of place.
I personally prefer the menu buttons stuck together without the white spot in between.
All in all, pretty nice layout... the blue in the menu's a bit too... blue.. :p Kinda stings the eyes. That's just me, of course.
