Hi all,
I'm running a fairly large forum system, and have coded something to back the DB up daily, and then FTP it to another server for storage - the general idea being that if the main server goes down, there's a back up on another server.
Now the question is, is there a free host (with FTP..) that I can use to store the backups? I will obviously code something that will allow only 10 or so backups to be stored so the capacity doesn't get ridiculous, but it would still be nice to have a free host that has a large capacity: I'm thinking 70-100 megs?
Does such a thing exist?
As an aside, PHP or perl would be nice, so I can code something to delete files older than a set time or whatever.
Many thanks,
Ed Ludlow
