Where does it pull it's database from??

I quickly read the page. Somewehre it said that it pulled from yahoo and google....

Those are serach engines...

Actually I doubt if it works cuz domain registers have the image password that have numbers on them so you can only check a domain's whois manualy. Unless you find a way to get through that I dono how you could check it. Checking it from Yahoo and such is not going to be accurate as they can be registered and it might take about 24hrs or more to refresh the nameservers.
