I registered for a free account once on port5.com (http://www.port5.com) many months ago from now. Never got an e-mail, or anything. And, just a couple weeks ago I registered an account from off of portland.co.uk (http://www.portland.co.uk).. I registered a port5.com subdomain on it. The subdomain is all set up too. But, never got one e-mail yet that gives me my FTP info.. eh. I use a visto.com e-mail account.. is that bad, or something? 'cause I'm not gettin anything.

Wierd.. I got my accounts set up okay and recieved an email.

Yeah, I've created countless portland acconts and never had a problem.

Portland is highly erratic and they never respond to ur querries. If u want a portland web site, try their numorous resellers

at least in such an eventuality they will help u out

There was problem to sign up about 1 or 2 months back. They actually sent me a mail apologizing. Try to sign up with the same name again. Maybe it was never registered at all.

No.. it was registered.. 'cause I checked the URL before I signed up.. and it was blank. After I signed up I checked the URL myself.. and there was a cgi-bin on it showing the listing of the main directory...

..the date on the cgi-bin for the "last modified" is 24-May-2001.. which is right after I signed up.

I haven't bothered e-mailing them about it.. I'm.. just kinda lazy.. and probably don't need them anyway..
