I am an author looking for file hosting that allows external linking. Which means I want to store my ebooks in a storage site, and then post a link on my website so that my readers can automatically download it.
I have already read the sticky and checked out those file hosting, most of which don't say anything about external linking.
If anyone knows a place with at least 5MB of data transfer a day for FREE. let me know, thank you.

1. Don't care about sig
2. Yes, I did.
3. So, this forum only helps out the older members? Great way of getting new people.

kali, shut up for a sec
why don't you just put your ebooks on your website? and it doesn't have to be a file storage website, you can use a web host. Use the FWS Power Search (http://www.freewebspace.net/search/power.shtml) or take a look in the free hosting offers (http://freewebspace.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=32). If not, you can try www.hostultra.com but i can't remember if they allow hot linking or not.
The forum doesn't only help old people, but we hate it when people sign up, post requests and expect people to help them, then just leave without even saying thanks. There's a general discussion forum, so just introduce yourself and/or participate in the discussions we have. If you stick around, we'll be more then happy to help - that's what a community is
