Boy o boy did I have an adrenaline rush yesterday.

I went to my friends place at about 10pm with my dads intrepid.
Parked the car in the apparment parking lot (no lightning) and went inside.

We came outside about 15mins later to go somewhere.
I get in, two of my friends get in, we put some music on, light up a cig and 10mins later we're ready to leave. So I start the car. Put in reverse, checked mirrors and pressed the gaz. Something didnt feel right, but I continued to back up. Then my friend looks in the rear window and yells me to stop! Some moron parked his car sideways right behind me while we were inside my car. 1/4 of the back of his car was directly behind mine. But It was already too late, I made my way truh. 90deg turn, shift in D and blast off as quickly as possible. 2 corners later after slowing down and driving like nothing happened, police sirens. I felt like my blood froze up in a split second. I slowly pull over and hold my breath. Police cars zoom by. Released my breath, parked the car and J time. Boy that was scary.

Results:
He had a generous 6-8inch deep x 24inch wide inside-dent between the door and rear (it was an old black cavalier coupe falling apart)
My rear bumber corner from pasager side is bent inwards. 3in deep x 6in high

I should probably leech some money off mommy to finish my driving lessons and get a license ASAP. I would of just left a note with info to reach for insurance ----...

Remember kids, dont drive with no license.

Anyone got any similar stories? or stories of your first accident?

my first accident i was travelingwest on 104th street in my brand new Lexus IS300, my baby. At one point I'm ontop of the bridge and about 30 feet from me is a BMW doing about the same speed as I am doing.. well the light turns from RED to Green and he stops.. so I break, but the roads were wet and smashed into him totalling my car.

I miss my baby.

At leat I have a license.

I hope there were witnesses who will report your crime to the police.

The owner of the other vehicle is probably screwed for insurance purposes for now until things get settled.

And top top it off you smoke weed while driving?

That sort of bull---- deserves punishment.

Why would you post an incriminating thread like this that only proves how irresponsible and moronic you are? Is this one of those traps the cops lay where you win a boat and get to pick it up at the police station?

Hum,

I parked well. He parked like crap, not even in a parking spot.
It was dark, parking wasnt lighted, his car was black.
I didnt see him nor did any of my 2 friends until one felt it. You wouldnt have seen him either, trust me.

And as for the J it was smoked after the incident when we arrived. We were 100% sober when it hapened.

As I said, if I'd have my license i would of let my cell number under the wiper to discuss insurane ----.

I'm driving with no license since september, and I've had my fair share of real-life practice. I've managed to get out of 3 possible accidents, all without a scratch. 2 caused by weather and 1 by some dude who didnt know how to drive.

I consider myself an excellent driver nevertheless.

jmiller
July 5th, 2004, 21:40
That is the worst excuse I have ever heard.

If you had any balls you would have left your info regardless of the status of your license.

You're going to cause this guy serious problems when it comes to insurance, as his company is going to take its time doing background checks to find out what exactly happened to cause the problem.

Had you stuck around it would have been much more speedy for him.

As for the weed, did you drive after smoking it?

Accidents happen.. however, in the U.S. you'd be in so much trouble.

Let's see, you:

- Drove without a valid license.
- Damaged a vechicle
- Fled the scene
- Smoked afterwards, the police could charge you with DUI anyways.

If this was in the U.S., you'd be in jail. You'd have your license revoked for at least a year, and let's not even talk about the charges brought to you for leaving the scene of an accident.

You are not an excellent driver, an excellent driver would have a license, an excellent driver won't drive if he didn't have a license, an excellent driver wouldn't be under the influence of any substance while operating a vechicle, an excellent driver wouldn't flee the scene of an accident

I know that in my group of friends nobody has the nerve to smoke while driving.

If the night includes us doing any sort of drug or drinking, then vehicles are left at home.

I would never be so selfish as to smoke while driving, or even flee a scene for that matter.

Furthermore, allow me to add it's your irresponbility Wojtek and the attitude other drivers like yourself have that causes insurance rates to go up. Now this gentlemen has to go through his insurance provider and pay his deductible to have his vechicle repaired. Just because it was a "beat up vechicle" doesn't entitle you to leave the scene.

I am also amazed at this. At first i thought you made it up to show off how "cool" you are but if that really happend then thats sad. I have been in one accident my life. It was a small one and a rear ended the guy. I was 16 with my license but in california the insurance for a minor is extremely high so the car wasnt insured to my but instead the by mom and dad. After i hit the guy i got out to talk to him. I got lucky and he agreed not to call cops or go through insurance companies to settle it cause then i would have been screwed. I did have to pay him near $600 for repairs. The least you could have done wotejk is leave a not with your number telling him to call you and discuss it.

My friends and I were out cruising around, when we happened to go by a downtown nightclub with a large group of people outside and on the roads, including a group of cowboys.

So there we are, trying to get through the small road, and these hicks are refusing to get out of the way, even after asking them.

Finally after a couple minutes of arguing they move away, only to toss a full yet open beer can in the window as we were driving off.

I tossed it back out onto the road, which for whatever reason made them irrate, as we drove off I watched as two hopped into the truck to give chase, except, the driver, being hammered through the truck into reverse and barreled into a wall and lamp-post.

Boy did we get out of there fast.

We circled the block and came back about 10 minutes later to find several police cars and a tow truck, and a few of the men in handcuffs.

The onlookers pointed us out to police as the "other party", however after speaking to us the police were uninterested and we were more than free to go.

Boy what great fun that was.

Wojtek, you're a freakin' idiot, but everyone here has already told you that.

(There are these things...called car lights...they let you see things, like cars parked behind you. You are supposed to turn those on before you go anywhere if it's dark, raining, or snowing.)

I've been driving for 3 or 4 years and I've still got a clean record. No tickets, no crashes, any only 1 or 2 close incidents, both caused by other people. Driving really isn't a hard thing at all, assuming you aren't a) high b) drunk c) tired d) stupid.

Congratulations Wojtek. Congratulations.

I would have done the exact same thing in Wojtek's situation because my opinion is the police haven't ever done anything for me but misplace blame without evidence. So if anything why should I wait up for them? Now for the person who parked the car... if he had some common sense he wouldn't have parked his car in a fashion that would have cause an accident. @ Wojtek and his little play mates.

I think you little boys need to go back to your GI Joe dollies and toy cars and keep pretending that you have a clue on how to even put a car in gear let alone drive one.

Stop trying to prove how clueless you are and start thinking about the other people that you will maim or kill when you finally come unstuck because you were smoking, drinking or playing with your oops I mean trying to find it so you could play with it while your driving, wake up ----heads it's not cool to be you, who wants to be a friggin little toy boy who hasn't got it and doesn't know where to get it and if they had it, would die from shock.

Get over yourselves and the only way to be cool is not to be a fool and you all are fools if ya think showing that you don't give a ---- about any one else is da bomb.

You want to be cool then be a man and show responsibility and that you care for others while maintaining the strength as a fellow human being with dignity and pride.

Honor my friends, honor is a word you can't spell nor understand. Respect: respect for your brothers and their people and most importantly for yourself is something you will never have because you just don't get it, respect is earned and only given to those that deserve it. And don't fool yourself that your friends respect you cause they don't, they are just too stupid and scared to tell you what they really think.

I know you I have seen you in the bars, nightclubs and on the street pretending that you're down with it and your looser friends pat you on the back, while everybody laughs at you behind your backs, and then you do it all over again while the guys that are in the know walk away with the great looking girls and drive the cars of your dreams, like I said wake up and take your hand off of your little pecker, time to grow up.

I have no idea who you think you really are; I'm not going to play that guessing game. My opinion of you is totally shaped by your postings on this message board.

While meeting you in person might not generate the same opinion, you must realize that the impression you give of yourself through textual expression is really you as well, just a different aspect.

bright-bytes was fleshing out the profile that you started here in this thread. It may be correct or it may be completely incorrect.

None of this is meant to be a flame or pure criticism -- I have far better things than that to do with my time. Just take a look at your life -- are you excited about your prospects following the path of smoking dope, driving without a license, running from police, and then being fine with that?

Sure, it's a thrill for a while. It's cool to be bad for a while, but do you want to be doing that in 10 or 20 years? If not, why not just start living the mature life now? It takes a much bigger man to admit a mistake than to attempt to justify it.

While I agree with you to some point, let me express my opinion further.

Who am I?
Im Wojtek. I goto school, work, do all my household chores and I respect my parents. Im a good guy, so dont question my lifestyle.

I wrote what hapened that evening. Thats all.
If I wanted to show off I could of invented a whole better story about how we smoked a pound of weed, passed on a red light, and finaly got 10 police cars chase me on the highway at 150mph and what not, yet thats not what I did. So once again please stop this whole coolness, showing off crap.

In 10 or 20 years I'll have an university degree, be a proud father and living a normal life. What else do you think I wanna be? Full time drug dealer? hah

While I agree that I'v done some stupid things in the past, who didnt. Were you all little angels in your youth? Are you still little angels now? You'v all passed on a red light at least once in your lifetime or drove faster then 65mph on the highway. Everyone makes mistakes, be it driving related or not, we'r not perfect. Im the only one who posted about my mistake, wanting to discuss about what other people's accidents/mistakes were. Yet nobody (besides 3 people) wanted to admit any of theirs wanting to keep their online reputation clean, so they prefer to make their mr smartypants and ---- on someone who had the guts to post about something they did.

As jesus once said "Let the one who never sinned throw the first stone" :p

All i can say is i hope someone hits your car, messes it up badly and then leaves. You will then go throgh all the stress of going to the police, filing insurance complaints, and then might even have to pay for it. Thats why its better to just leave a name and number if you hit someone, save someone the stresss.

And cops probably have a good reason to not do anything for you. You have just admitted that you would leave a crime scene if you were involved in the crime.

First of all its not by age.
Second of all, if it was, and adult is 18 years or older.

And adult it just a person who is mature and responsible.

In that case, the phrase, responsible adult, is an oxymoron :)

and in your country adult = 21
No. 18 is the legal age in this country. The minute you are responsible for your own actions is the minute you are an adult, and in this country, it's 18.

That is a better definition. The minute you are LEAGALLY responsible for your actions, then you are and adult

Cigaretes are 18 over here. And this just shows your even less responsible, thinking that being able to leagally drink makes you an adult

I never implied anything about my age. What I said was *If* I was in Wojtek's situation I would do exact same thing. I am actually almost 16, but that really has nothing to do with it.

I implied that you were because i read your post that said that you would do the exact same as wotejk given the fact that you were in the same situation. Meaning that you probably drive a car. Thats why i safley assumed that you were at least 16. The fact that you gave misleading information is your fault

Thats it right there.... You proved my point for me.Given the fact I were in the situation, which I wasn't. Which gives you no right to determine that I drive a car, which again I don't. You may have assumed I was 16, but your incorrect, I'm 15. And If you scroll up, I did not post any information to lead you in any other direction. You took the info I gave, twisted it, and ran with it.

You said that you would do the same if you hit a car. You have never been in that situation and wont be untill your 16 so how can you say what you would have done. I figured that you drove a car which unless you are breaking the law (which you have said you would) you have to be 16

Even I of all people hasn''t had their account "suspended", which says alot.

As jesus once said "Let the one who never sinned throw the first stone
Wojtek, you still don't get it, it wasn't an accident that you left after hitting the car, that was a choice, it wasn't and accident that you smoked pot while driving, that was a choice. I don't know about you but when I get in to my car I check out what is around it before I get in, if the car was as you describe 3/4's across the back of your's then it would have been pretty hard to miss when you and your pals were getting in the car or were you too wasted to see it?

My point is not to make out that I or anyone else is any better than you, far from it I have made mistakes and been there done that too, my point is that I have learn't from my mistakes and I certainly wouldn't come on a message board where there are others that may look at me as a role model and brag about something like this and make out as if it is perfectly ok to leave an accident seen, smoke dope while driving and commit crimes.

You say "In 10 or 20 years I'll have an university degree, be a proud father and living a normal life. What else do you think I wanna be? Full time drug dealer? hah" the part I worry about is the proud farther bit, I realy hope that you get a clue and realy start being cool before then and don't brag to your kids about stuff like this.

I can securely say that I would have done the exact same thing if I were in the case because I know myself, unlike you. You can't judge people because you think you are correct, when clearly your not. I said I would have because I know if I were in the situation, I would just get out of there, but apparently you can't comprehend that. You believe that I have to be old enough to be in the situation in order to give my opinion about what I would have done in the situation, which again (like most of your other posts in this thread) wrong.
