are there any free MySQL and PHP4 supporting hosts, that provide enough space for a mid-sized vBulletin? don't mention freesql, not enough bandwidth...

Yeah, there isn't enough MySQL database space... I need quite a bit, since I need it for a fairly large vBulletin.

Spaceports has a 1000 file limit on their CGI server, I don't think that is good enough for a large message board.

The plan you are talking about it at:
http://directoris.com/ser/int/host/
They are only taking orders you will not get an account
right now per what their web site says
Please find below our FREE Hosting Package. Later on, this year, you will be able to host your domain on our new NT server and use Cold Fusion, ASP, etc. Stay in touch with us if you are interested in this offer.

I just checked them out. That deal looks pretty good. But does anyone know how their speed is? The host's speed is really important to me. I really need to know.

vBulletin uses PHP and MySQL, not CGI, so CGI space doesn't matter to me. As long as there CGI can hold NewsPro, that's fine with me.:D

Super fast reply to my questions from directoris...
> will there be a charge for hosting after June 29, 2001?
- No.
> or will you be adding banners or ads?
- No.
> is the service free of charge forever w/ ot banners and ads?
- Yes.
> Any catch?
- No.
If you apply today, your hosting plan will remain fre for life. After the
29th June, this offer won't be available. We will introduce other Hosting
deals, but not this one.
Kind regards,
