I'm talking about 128MB versions here, because the 256MB is around SG$70 which I can't afford, which translates to around the price in Newegg.

You quoted "SG$60 ( ~$35 USD). Yet you say a $36 dolllr 256mb drive like I posted would be $SG70. Now i'm no math wizard, but how do you go from SG$60 for $35 USD to SG$70 for $36 USD. I don't think 1 U.S. dollar equals 10 SG.
36.00 USD = 61.4950 SGD
35.00 USD = 59.7870 SGD

Oops, SG$70 is actually $41 when divided by 1.7. The rest I didn't really bother to calculate.
Is Sandisk good? I'm thinking of getting the 256MB USB2.0 model which costs $80 here. Kingston has a 256MB USB1.1 model for $70 and a USB2.2 at $82.

But you can't even afford $70, how are you going to buy the $80 one then?

Just considering about it, might buy an external HDD casing instead, gonna mount an old HDD there, more worth it.

I have the 256MB Cruzer Micro and have had no problems with it. It works just as advertised.
Why would you want to partition it?
