Please review my banner

Here is my new banner. Please tell me exatly what you think about it, what it needs, and what it doesnt.

It looks OK, but if it was me I would make the background another colour... also the url at the end is also a little hard to read. But other than that, the transition effects are pretty good.

First off, Nice Banner! I'll be visiting that site! :)

Here's just a few points you may wish to consider:

34.3 KB is a bit big... typically the maximum is about 12 KB.
I found that all the things I loved, well... there isn't much there on that banner, maybe make them migger and fill it? with them?
Try colour changing... using colours already in the platee, works wonders and keeps the file small.

Yes my site is strapped for content because i am strapped for time. Hopefully I will have some better things to offer. (I can still take the banner size down.)

Not so much that... just try enlarging the font. ;)

It's an old pass me down "Trick-the-visitor" trick. :)

PS. Remember up to 20% higher click-throughs are achieved with a "Click Here" on the banner... :)

Nice and simple... but maybe you can make the words a bit larger (music, adult... etc.)

Ive changed the banner around a little and made 2 more alternates. I may do a total revamp...

Clearjade- I use the domainhost that my FWP provides. www.socialreject.net unfortunately theres no more signups with them right now

Overall it's pretty good, but the fade in fade out transitions and such are to long, no one will sit and stare at your ad for 20 seconds while it goes through everything.

Very good suggestion. Here's the final product: its smaller (19k still big i know) text is larger, fadeins and outs and other effects are faster. does it need a 'click here' ?

i like your banner idea, although i would make the text a lot larger until you have enough stuff to fill up the entire space. Many you could have the topics overlap or something
