Hello,

I'm looking for a small hosting account to use as 3rd party uptime meter for my other servers. Here's what I need:

20MB Diskspace
4GB Bandwidth (or more)
cPanel access
Cronjob access
99.9% UPTIME -> IMPORTANT! Please show us your uptime if possible.

I'm looking for a professional host here :)

You can pick out what you want for trade:
- A hosting package of the same size on one of our servers (to do the same thing)
- A text link or small graphical button with a link to your website

Kind Regards,
S. Van Baelen

I have a deal for you. I can add your company to my list and provide Alertra uptime reporting. Alertra is a commercial third-party monitoring service. In return, I would like a text link and graphical button.

Er Pixel, free for a server you run which costs money - why not go for a reciprical deal.

You monitor mine and I'll monitor yours :)

One to one server monitoring may not be a good thing. The network between the two servers may go down but that does not mean the server is down. It may still be accessible through other networks which is why more than 1 server can be used to verify server status. :)

I agree, didn't say only to do it with one.

This could be a good oppertunity for a ring to form :)

Well I already found an account, but if you want to form some kind of ring (or maybe some kind of extended start), go ahead and I'll concider joining it :)

I'll have a think about it and see about a common script for all to use :)
