Is there a way to archive one of these threads if you like it?

These threads don't look like they're getting deleted... So archiving would be of no use... But since you want a way to archive: Click on File > Save As...

Why would you ever want to save one of these threads?? Bedtime stories? to remind you of all the coll things you could have replied with??

well if one of the many threads might contain info you would need later, very unlikely but possible

Why not just copy down the info onto a piece of paper?
