I want subdomain hosting by another provider like datapackets.net. I'm just wondering if I could get a cheaper price then 4.95 a month? Its just going to be a site for the family.

I'm not sure what datapackets.net offers but you could go with WorldZonePro for $4 per month. They will offer you a subdomain account (look under their "order now" page). http://worldzonepro.net/

I think Robert @ Dim8.net charges $30 a year for subdomain hosting or he did when i last checked with him, http://www.dim8.net

Of course not! If you feel that you do not need a domain, you can have a sub-domain instead (ex. yourname.dim8.net). There is not extra fee or discount if you use a sub-domain. If you ever do get a domain, we'll add the domain to our server and transfer your files over to it at not extra cost!

meow yes if its a custom package wouldnt expect much space or bandwidth. think its 25mb space and 1 gb bandwidth.

Youd have to ask robert im not gonna say something that maybe incorrect but im guessing you can host either a domain or use a subdomain.

You can allways get a free *.com.kg , *.uni.cc , *.da.ru or *.hn.org

you'll get CGI-BIN....that's basically it..i think...i think there is a way of getting PHP, but I don't know how. I've have to specify the full path and edit the .htaccess file, but don't know what to add or delete. you'll get FTP access and all that sort of good stuff..
