Hi! I'm using Eudora for my e-mails and Firefox as my default browser. Whenever I click on a link from Eudora, it opens up two new Firefox browser and Internet Explorer as well. How do I remedy this? How can I make Eudora open only new tabs or new window from my currently opened browser (Firefox)?

Thank you.

Sounds like a "mailto:" screw up.

This is an old topic already. I already got this one solved.

This is a bug with FF. Create a registry file and copy and paste this:

REGEDIT4

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\HTTP\shell\open\ddeexec]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\HTTP\shell\open\ddeexec\Application]
""="FIREFOX"

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\https\shell\open\ddeexec]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\https\shell\open\ddeexec\Application]
""="FIREFOX"

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ftp\shell\open\ddeexec]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ftp\shell\open\ddeexec\Application]
""="FIREFOX"

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\gopher\shell\open\ddeexec]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\gopher\shell\open\ddeexec\Application]
""="FIREFOX"

Save it as anyname.reg and then click it.

Vegikens, that was a week ago. Look at the start date of this thread. Nobody was replying so I ask it somewhere else and was able to retrieve the information posted above. No, it's not a "mailto: screw up. Thanks for trying to help though.
