hi i need a host that will allow realaudio files up to 3 megs in size, offer ftp and 50-75 megs of free space. they must be fast and reliable too, and not care too much about mulitple accounts. any advise?

I'm not sure if Xoom/NBCi is really going to close. That's why my site is still there. However, I have a copy of it on Nightsteel and another copy on Crosswinds in case NBCi does close. But for the time being, I'm taking advantage of NBCi's fast servers while I still can.

If NBCI closes, and I hope it won't, you can probably use http://www.xoom.fr (if you can make it through a French signup page). It's got all the stuff xoom.com had

I used to have a RA site on Fortunecity. They stopped allowing http streaming and I don't think they have a RA server. It might have changed recently but I don't think so.

Peace...

When did Nightsteel stop accepting new members? It had to be sometime within the past two weeks, because I obtained an account from them about two weeks ago.

A little more than a year ago I searched for a good real audio host, the best one I found by then was rootsweb. The only drawback there (more orless) was the long url. :D

http://www.angelfire.com is a very good host to store .rm, .ram, .ra files. Ive had mine stored there for over a year and dont even have any html files in my account and they havent deleted them. plus they offer 50 megs. i would go with them.
