Well if you don't know already the have cut the amount of mb's allowed from 25mb's to 20mb's (Still Alot For Most). But you have to wonder, a free service NON ad supported how long it will last.

The have to chop your diskspace, because they cannot afford the upgrades to their server. Their downtime recently is causing a few people to get nervous and starting to move back to the stable featureless geocities.

I have heard from many people close to digitalrice that the service, infact will go into receivership shortly. I am not stating that they will merely suggesting, that I have it on good authority that they might.

I am hoping for the people that either:

(A) Can't afford Quality Hosting
(B) Don't have a credit card etc...

They do not go down. You have to wonder how they will support this service soon though.

What does "going into receivership" mean anyway? Darn it, darn it. They used to be one of the best. It'll be painful to see them go. Especially since my page is hosted with them.

If they do fold soon, this is going to be close. My CC is still in the approval qeue.

i do have a site with them too but its gone! I remember last month when Digitalrice said they are lack of money and they stopped their service for a while but later on, they went back normal and on that day they went back normal, I think my computer juz somehow got into virus and i got to format my whole comp and re-setup everything. A few days later when i check back my site, my pages are all gone and they arent in my FTP anymore! And worst I have juz got my PC formatted! I used Flash to do the site and it took mi weeks to complete the flash movie and now its gone!
Now I won't host any of my pages with them anymore! :mad:
They are not reliable at all!
