Have anyone amongst you ever heard of a free/paid service which can toggle a DNS between 2 domains whenever one of them is down? There are loads of free services around which can tell you that your site is down but none of them seem to offer that Redundancy option, what we call fail-over in RAID 1.

it's not really possible due to the way DNS cache things
changes take time to propogate - you could set it up so they won't be cached for long but it's not really a solution as it'd slow down access to your pages

What might be the solution then?
It is very easy to FTP to 2 or 3 sites.
Is there any service like Zone edit which would allow the toggling to occur. It would have to be used silmultaneuously w/a monitoring system. If you have your website in house. It is no problem....

I think dns2go.com provide this service, if its not your domain.
