anyone tried the iB alpha 3 release? i think i got problem installing that do u get the problem too?? it seems that i cant view page 2 threads! :(

oh ya! btw, anyone know of any gd host for iB? i need a host that have enough disk space

I still don't think there's anything wrong with F2S. If you don't care about ads (you shouldn't, if you want lots of space and stuff) then do a power search.

but i am afraid of the bandwidth
the board seems to refresh a lot of things!
like when u edit or post anything, they will say thanks blah blah blah and these pages waste bandwidth

I've never heard of F2S limiting bandwidth usage...

but is 20megs enough for a board when the board grows bigger??

Seriously, I won't recommend ikonboard because there are just too many bugs. In my experience with the usage of its 2.x series, I have had nothing but problems. If there are any ikonboard owners who love it here, then I apologize. I am just typing my experiences using the program.

I'd stick with 2.8 or 2.9 for a while until they fix any bugs in 3.0(which I bet there's plenty)

It's alpha, it's bound to have loads of bugs and problems, not to mention security issues.

Well, not surprising its got bugs.... all things in their first release are bound to have bugs....

Just gotta give them time to iron the bugs out.... I'm waiting for a later release b4 I try it

I used Ikonboard for awhile, but I hated how everything was stored in textfiles. ANYONE could go and see them if they knew how to exploit the scripts. Somehow they harvested a password on mine and kept deleting forum files. Oh well. I've switched to phpBB now, and I love it! It's a watered down this board but better than ikonboard.. uh yeah lol I hope they get their hack page working soon cause I wanna tweak my phpBB.
